Hello, my name is Mike D. Nicholson. I am a Brooklyn, New Yorker that has transplanted to Columbus, Ohio. I attended Ohio Wesleyan University, where I received my BFA in Graphic Design. Upon graduating from college, I worked at a marketing firm for about a year. I then went on to start my own graphic design and marketing business for 7 years. During my seventh year of business, I decided to stop and start a new venture in the fitness industry realm.
I’ve been married, divorced, and married again. I have been blessed to have two wonderful sons and am currently married to the woman of my dreams, a farm girl from rural Ohio. Did I fail to mention that I am a black guy from Brooklyn? Our relationship has all the makings of a dope tv sitcom.
My life experiences have afforded me various perspectives. I tend to see things through a different lens on my present city’s culture and climate, and life in general. I plan to share those perspectives as we as others with you.
